Tango and movement workshops, queer tango discussions, and of course, afternoon and evening milongas with our international DJ lineup. If you’re brand new to tango, that’s fine too, as we’ll offer classes to start your queer tango journey.

Experience the queer summer camp of your dreams, with rustic cabin living, communal meals, swimming, canoeing in a beautiful wooded environment, plus TANGO!

Queer Tango Camp is staffed by 100% queer organizers, dj’s and instructors. This is a queer-centered event, but allies and advocates are also welcome to register! The event is all-inclusive and your registration fee includes communal cabin lodgings, all meals, and all workshops, milongas, and social events.

What to expect: This event will be casual – wear comfy clothes, and be prepared to follow woodsy trails to your next camp destination. Low or flat dance shoes are recommended for dancing in pavilions. Bring some sunblock, bugspray, your favorite snack, or a bottle of Malbec for you and your new best friends. We want you to be comfortable and be yourself!

Summer camp is a place to learn, but also a place to relax and recharge. For that reason, camp will feature limited workshops designed to bring us closer and allow us to explore our tango skills as a community. You choose your perfect balance of relaxation, exploration, and community participation.
