Kvinnohöjden International Both Role Tango Retreat for Women August 2-8, 2020
We invite tango women from all around the world who dances both roles to the 5th international tango week at beautifully situated KVINNOHÖJDEN in the Swedish countryside!

There will be several workshops every day. There will be practicas with instructors ready to help, relaxed and inclusive milongas, talks in large and smaller groups. We will be focusing on communication and presence, musicality, technique and body awareness. Together we will explore what tango at Kvinnohöjden can be about, and we will use feministic methods to create a safe and non-hierarchical athmosphere.

Everyone takes turns in leading and following and everyone dances with one another.

Previous knowledge: Medium/advanced level. You should have some years of tango experience – also social dancing – in both roles.

Dates: 2th-8th August (Sun afternoon-Sat lunch)

Registration: will open 2nd of March 2020. You then register by sending an e-mail to kvinnohojden@yahoo.se. (Since there is only room for 25 women, you have to be quick! We reserve 10 spots for non-Swedish participants.) You don’t have to pay anything before you get a confirmation.
