Helen “La Vikinga” Haldorsdottir is an Icelandic tango teacher based in Buenos Aires. In this interview with Sasha Cagan at the Queer Tango Festival in San Francisco, USA, she talks about Queer Tango and the culture of the different tango scenes around the world. As a tango teacher and straight woman Helen La Vikinga has been dancing Queer Tango for many years, and she encourages exploration of Tango with open roles in order for people to discover which role they prefer.
