On 10–12 June 2022 we invite you to a tango marathon for queer and double role dancers in Sweden’s beautiful capital Stockholm.

Alma de Bohemia is organized by seven enthusiastic queer and double role dancers who want to show you Stockholm at the loveliest time of the year and offer wonderful meetings between international guests and local dancers. We are seasoned milonga organizers but this will be our first marathon and the number of participants will be an intimate number of 80 dancers. Our hope is to achieve a cosy mix of countries, ages, genders, queer and double role dancers.

The team
Malin Backström and Henny Stridsberg are tango teachers, together with Silvia Bruzzone they initiated a new queer milonga in Stockholm in January 2020.
Jessica Carleson, Marja Haapalainen and Arja Stenholm organize double role milonga Dubbelt upp!
Ulla Kastrup is a tango DJ and active in Sweden’s oldest and largest tango association Tango Norte.
